Don't push the river, it flows by itself.

ABOUT ME

Welcome!
If you’re here, you might be feeling a little stuck. Maybe what used to help you cope isn’t working anymore, leaving you frustrated, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next. If you're looking for clarity and support, this is a good place to start.
A little about me: I’ve always been fascinated by what shapes us, what holds us back, and what helps us heal. That curiosity—along with my own journey toward balance and peace—led me to the field of psychotherapy. My main modality is Gestalt, but I also utilize aspects of mindfulness-based, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-based, and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) models to work with my clients.
I’m a firm believer that therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—because you’re not broken. It’s about deepening your understanding of yourself, uncovering the patterns that may be holding you back, and finding new ways to move forward. Buddha taught that life is full of suffering but I don’t think our suffering is meant to deteriorate us; rather, it’s an opportunity for us to grow and become more resilient. It takes a lot of practice to learn how to tolerate discomfort. Change occurs through self-acceptance. Our sense of fulfillment and connection is achieved from an expansive mental space, not in isolation. My role is to support you in that process, offering a space where you can show up as you are, face those uncomfortable emotions, and navigate your life with greater ease.
If this resonates with you, I’d be happy to offer a free consultation. Together, we can take it one step at a time.
Education and Credentials: My education began with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and I later completed a five-year psychotherapy training program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). I am covered under most employee health insurance plans that include "psychotherapy services." These companies include, but may not be limited to, Sunlife, Manulife, Greenshield, and Canada Life.
In addition to my work with clients, I offer supervision for student therapists as they embark on this deeply rewarding journey. I am passionate about creating a space where emerging therapists can explore their growth, refine their skills, and develop confidence in their unique therapeutic approach.
