I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My technique is Gestalt Therapy and I was trained at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. I am also a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT) and I  abide by both CRPO and CAPT's code of ethics.

Since I was a teenager, listening and learning about others has been a passion of mine. I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology - specializing in Mental Health at the University of Toronto. After that, I got accepted to the Gestalt Institute of Toronto to continue my training to fully become a licensed registered psychotherapist.

As a Gestalt therapist, I am committed to the well being of all my clients and intent to provide support and guidance on their journey of self-growth. I mainly focus on the present moment with my clients. Sometimes, our usual way of thinking and dealing with life adversities stops working, leaving us feeling lost. I have been there myself many occasions. I personally believe that the more we know ourselves, the more equipped we are to face unexpected challenges life throws to us.

Gestalt therapy takes on a holistic approach that examines both the human mind and behavior. Gestalt believes that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We are not simply just individuals but rather our thoughts and actions are affected by our history and current environment. Sometimes we are aware of the effect and other times things come up unconsciously. Gestalt’s main purpose is to bring some clarity and awareness to the unconscious thought process, especially the ones that are disruptive and preventing us to live a fuller life. Gestalt therapist acts as a guidance and a companion with the client on their journey to self growth.

It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix. With time, and through the increased awareness of our actions, change will begin.

I require a 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment, otherwise, a charge of the full session rate will be applied, this does not apply to the case of a medical emergency. If for some reason I had to cancel within 24 hours, with the exception of a medical emergency, the following session will be free. There is no charge if you cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice.

I offer a 20-30 minutes free consultation by phone or video call. This is to give both of us a chance to see if we are a good fit and that you are comfortable working with me.
